Funeral rites for Domingo Adams Sr., 3731 15th St., will be held Wednesday at 10a.m. in Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial park. Rev. P. Fernandez, pastor of the Guadalupe church, will officiate. Rosary will be recited Tuesday at 7:30p.m. in Levingston chapel of Groves.

Pallbearers will be Lucian, Steve and Joe Adams, Roy, Lawrence, Albert and Harvey Culver and Earl Duhon.

Adams died Tuesday at 12:30a.m. in St. Mary's Hospital. He had been in ailing health for several months. He was a Gulf refinery boilmaker. One of his seven brothers, Lucian Adams of San Antonio, was a Medal of Honor winner during World War II.

A native of Robstown, Texas, Adams had lived in Port Arthur since infancy. He was a member of Guadalupe church and its Holy Name Society. He served in the Navy during World War II. He had worked for Gulf for 23 years.

Surviving are the wife, Mrs. Mary Adams of Port Arthur; four daughters, Mrs. Paul Gonzales and Mrs. Paul LeBlanc both of Nederland, Mrs. Daniel Jacobs of Orange and Miss Linda Adams of Port Arthur; five sons, Domingo Adams Jr. of Winnie, Robert of Groves and Lucian, Rudy and George Adams, all of Port Arthur; three sisters, Mrs. Beatrice Ruiz and Mrs. Juanita Overa, both of San Antonio, and Mrs. Estelle Motal of Houston; three brothers, Lucian Adams of San Antonio, Steve Adams of Port Arthur and Joe Adams of Groves; four half brothers, Roy, Albert and Lawrence Culver, all of Groves, and Harvey Culver of Port Arthur; and 19 grandchildren.
