Florence M "Fuzz" Hagnauer (nee Elmore), 76, of Granite City, IL., born Oct. 13, 1922, in Granite City, IL., died Saturday Feb 6 1999 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center, Granite City, IL.

Mrs. Hagnauer was a member of the Holy Family Catholic Church, Granite City IL., and the Eagles Women's Auxiliary. She was a volunteer at St. Elizabeth Medical Center and the Young at Hearts Club.

Mrs. Hagnauer was preceded in death by her husband, Edward A. Hagnauer, Sr., parents John and Mabel (nee Neipert) Elmore; three brothers, Marvin, Fritz, and Rudy Elmore; a daughter, Rita Ann Hagnauer, and a son, Alan "Jimmy" Hagnauer.

Surviving are a son, Edward Hagnauer, Jr., of Granite City, IL; three daughters, Sandra Hunter of Granite City, IL., Phyllis Stone of Mount Olive, IL., and Karla Hooper of Granite City, IL; a sister, Juanita Blevins of Granite City IL., a brother, Richard Elmore of Granite City IL., seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the Renal Treatment Center. Visitation: Friends called Monday Feb 8, 1999, at Irwin Maryville Road chapel, Granite City, IL. A prayer service was held Monday at the funeral home. Funeral: Funeral Mass will be held at 9 am Tuesday, Feb 9, 1999, at Holy Family Catholic Church, Granite City IL., with Father Bill Fisherkeller officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Edwardsville.
