Funeral services for Walter S. White, 4323 Pickett, who died at 11:15 a.m. Saturday at his home in Greenville, will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in the James-Coker-Peters Chapel.
The Rev. L.D. Lewis of Greenville and Dr. Timothy Smith of Commerce will officiate. Burial will be made in East Mount.
Pallbearers will be Ellewayne Perry, C.C. Cannada, Fred Cannada, Avon Brown, Jerry East and Gene Saxton.
He is survived by his wife; five sons, Roy White, Terrell, Ray White, serving with the U.S. Army in Germany, Haskell White, Greenville, Miss., Coleman White, Alexandria, Va., Norman White, Fort Worth; two daughters, Mrs. D.L. Jennings, Alexandria, Va., Mrs. L.C. Lowrie, Fort Worth; two step-children, H.L. East, Greenville, James Richards, Fort Worth; 19 grandchildren, one great-grandchild; two brothers, Larkin White, Wills Point, Albert White, Fort Worth, and two sisters, Mrs. Austin Wadly, Dodson, Tex., and Mrs. Eula Jackson, Dallas.

We have two different payment receipts from around the same time with both names listed as the owner's of this property. As far as we the City of Greenville knows, Mr. White and Mr. Parker may have traded property or exchanged something else for the property. Whichever the case, your father and someone else was buried on this property:
Block 20, Lot 17, NE, Plots A and B.
Your father is buried in plot A; he has a covered concrete vault with his name on it.
Beside him in Plot B; there is another covered concrete vault, but the name plate is missing.
From the information I have gathered your father owned two plots, since there is a concrete vault on both plots, we have to assume that both plots are occupied.
