Haskell O. White, 79, of Lake Village, died Thursday, Aug. 17, 2000 at Delta Regional Medical Center in Greenville.
He was a veteran of the U S Army, a retired mechanic for the Lakeside School District and a member of the Oak Grove Free Will Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Hattie "Skeeter" White of Lake Village; two sons Odell White of Jackson MS and Larry White of Texas; stepdaughter, Linda White of Dallas; two brothers, Coleman White and Norman White of Fort Worth; a sister, Lela Jennings of Fort Worth and six grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 20, 2000 at Oak Grove Free Will Baptist Church with the Rev. Phillip Payne officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery under the direction of Bishop Funeral Home of Lake Village.
