Adaline Poirier aka Peach was born 3 August 1855 in the rural town of Constable, New York, the 8th child of 9 known children of Francois Xavier Poirier aka Peach and Cleophee Clare Patenaude. She married Joseph Francis Amos Williams about 1873, most likely by a civil or Protestant service. The marriage was later blessed by a Catholic Wedding Blessing on 16 December 1902 in St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Constable, New York. Each kept their own religion, but she had the children baptized in the Catholic Church whenever she could. She moved to Springfield, Massachusetts to live with her daughter after her husband's death in 1914. Many of her family members had made the move to the Springfield, Ma. area years earlier. She and her husband raised 9 known children in Westville, Franklin County, New York; Permelia Maria-Amelia b 1874 m Henry Premo, Willard Alfred b 1876 m Florence Tovet, Frank b 1878 m Mearnea Denigers, George b 1880 never married, Amos Edward b 1886 never married, Charles William b 1886 m Elizabeth Garvey, Joseph 1890 m Eva Poirier, Henry Walter b 1895, and Almedia Mary-Helena Williams b 1899 m George White. Spouse died at home in Westville on 12 July 1914 and is buried in the Westville Cemetery, Westville, Franklin County, New York. Adeline died in Springfield, Hampden County, Massachusetts at her daughter's home and her funeral was handled by her son in New York and buried in St. Francis of Assisi Church Cemetery in Constable, Franklin County, New York.
