Phillip and Celia purchased Phillip's parents farm of 10 acres in Constable, New York when his parents were elderly and moved to Springfield, MA.to join his brother, Francois Xavier "Oliver" Poirier aka Peach. Phillip and Celia also moved to Springfield, MA. by 1900 along with other siblings. He and Celia had two boys who died young and are buried in St. Michael's Cemetery.
