Funeral services for Auralea A. Hubbard of Creighton were held Monday, June 5, 1989 at 10:30 a.m. at the Brockhaus Funeral Home in Creighton. Rev. Olin Belt officiated with burial in the Greenwood Cemetery in Creighton.

Pallbearers were Robert Geisler, Robert Korb, Harold Timmons, Russell Schultz, Joseph Hesse and Paul Hubbard.

Auralea A. Hubbard, the daughter of Edmund and Mercedes (Haskin) Hubbard, was born February 12, 1915 at Venus and died Wednesday, May 31, 1989 at the Lundberg Memorial Hospital in Creighton at the age of 74 years, three months and 19 days.

In 1927 the family moved to Fort Laramie, Wyo. She graduated from Fort Laramie High School in 1934. In 1936 she returned to Nebraska, residing most of her life in the Creighton vicinity.

For several years, she worked as an aide at the Creighton Community Schools. She was a member of the United Methodist Church at Creighton.

Survivors include four sisters, Mrs. Raleigh (Alma) Korb of McCook, Mrs. Henry (Eueral) Ritterling of Longmont, Colo., Mrs. Edna Geisler and Mrs. Lottie Faith, both of Creighton; two brothers, Jasper Hubbard of Guide Rock and Clarence Hubbard of Casper, Wyo and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and five brothers.
