Other survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, James and Carolyn Day of Sikeston; two daughters and one son-in-law, Margie and Jerry Wood of Scottsboro, Ala., and Patricia Ann Day of the home in Sikeston; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Four brothers, Henry, Calvin, James "Jim" and John L. Day; and two sisters, Ethel Simpkins and Eugenia Pritchett, preceded him in death.
