She died at her home on Tennyson Avenue and was the widow of Albert Horne Burchfield who was the son of the original founders of the Joseph Horne Co.
Mrs. Burchfield is survived by a son, Albert Horne Burchfield Jr., two sisters, Mrs. J. M. Shields and Mrs. Jessie D. Maxwell, both of Pittsburgh, and three grandchildren.
