Mrs. Christina Buford Moore, 72, was killed in a one car accident Monday when her car went out of control and hit a tree inside the city limits of Jackson, where she resided.
Funeral services were to be held today at Wilson and Knight Funeral Home with the Rev. Garland Holloman officating. Burial was to be in Odd Fellows Cemetery with National Funeral Home of Clarksdale in charge of the services.
Mrs. Moore was the widow of B. F. Moore.
She is survived by one son, B. F. Moore of Yazoo City; a brother, Hix Buford of Clarksdale; six sisters, Mrs. Lucille Alford and Mrs. Willie Mae Alford, both of Greenwood, Mrs. Lorena Scott, Mrs. Jeffie Mosley and Mrs. Lena Glazier all of Jackson and Mrs. Gordon Ellington of Lexington; and two granddaughters.
