CONCORD - Graveside services for Earl Hamilton, 83, Concord community, near Troup, are scheduled for 1 p.m. Wednesday at Concord Cemetery with the Rev. Mark Davenport officiating under direction of Cottle Funeral Home, Troup.

Mr. Hamilton died Nov. 16 in Whitehouse.

He was born Aug. 16, 1920, in Troup to Looney Oliver and Ethel Jackson Hamilton and was a lifelong resident of the Troup area. He was an Army veteran of World War II, a retired farmer and a member of the Martin's Chapel Church of the Nazarene.

He was preceded in death by his son, Robert Eugene "Bobby" Hamilton; brothers, Robert Hamilton, Russell Hamilton, Frank Hamilton, and Dan Hamilton; and sister Inez Martin.

Survivors include two sons; five daughters; three brothers; three sisters; 22 grandchildren; and 24 great grandchildren.

Family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
