Mrs. Pauline Cox, eldest daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Arch Brown of Randolph, died unexpectedly. Hodgkin's disease was the cause of death.
Pauline Marjorie was born in Randolph on November 30, 1896, Nearly her whole life was spent in Randolph until 7 or 8 years ago when she went to work for a company in Rochester. She was a member of Randolph M. E. Church, having affiliated with the organization during her girlhood. Surviving besides the parents are a daughter, Mrs. George Wyant of Williamsville, two brothers, Paul Brown and Arthur Brown of Randolph; four sisters; Mrs. Francis Rice, Miss Aletha Brown of Randolph; Mrs. Isadora Gaylord of Fulton, NY; Mrs Alberta Wade of Falconer.
The funeral was held on Friday (5/23/1935) at 2 pm from the Myers & Myers funeral home on Church Street, with Rev. A R. Hillard, pastor of Randolph Federated Church, officiating. Bearers were George Dunn, Warren Darrow, Ned Cornell, Henry Anderson, Daniel Merritt, Harry Merritt. Burial was in Randolph Cemetery.
