Aletha was a beloved mother, grandmother, aunt, sister, daughter, friend. She was a slight woman with a sweet temperment whose life was filled with more sorrow than one should ever have to bear. Despite it all, she was a strong woman who smiled in the face adversity because of her love for the lord and God. She will be missed by all those that were fortunate to know her and grateful to be reunited when their time has passed.

Aletha B. Frame, 72, of 243 Buffalo St., Gowanda, died Sunday, Sept 17, 1989, at Tri-County Memorial Hospital.
Born Jan. 24, 1917, in Randolph, Mrs. Frame was a daughter of the late Arch & Carrie Tyrell Brown. She was married to Roger L. Frame, who predeceased her in 1961.
Mrs. Frame had been employed as a pyschiatric technician at Pacific State Hospital in Pomona, CA.
Surviving are a daughter, Patricia A. Bland of Gowanda; 4 grandchildren; 2 sisters: Alberta Wade & Isadora Gaylord, both of Gowanda & several nieces & nephews.
Mrs. Frame was predeceased by a son, Harold Frame.
Funeral services were held at 11 am Wednesday, Sept 20, at Mentley Funeral Home, Inc., Gowanda. The Rev. Gideon von Galambos, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church in Gowanda, officiated.
Burial was in Randolph Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Gowanda Ambulance Service.
