Paul K. Brown, 80, of Vollentine Road, R.D. 1, Randolph, died at 4 a.m. Monday, Feb. 6, 1978 in W.C.A. Hospital, Jamestown.
The son of Arch and Carrie Tyrell (sic Tyrrell) Brown, he was born Nov 1, 1897 in the village of Randolph.
Mr. Brown was engaged in dairy farming for many years and also had formerly worked in construction for Daniel Covert.
He was married to Helen Marsh Brown. She died April 5, 1976.
Surviving are three sons, Donald Brown of East Randolph and Rodney and Edward (Ted) Brown of Randolph; one daughter, Mrs. Donald (Fern) Stillson of Salamanca; four sisters, Mrs. Clarence (Frances) Rice of Randolph, Mrs. Isadora Gaylord of Gowanda, Mrs. Benjamin (Alberta) Wade and Mrs. Aletha Frame, both of El Paso, Texas; twenty-two grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sons, Robert and Clayton Brown.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Van Rensselaer & Son Funeral Home, 14 church Street, Randolph. The Rev. Albert T. Stoddard of the Randolph United Presbyterian Church will officiate. Burial will be in Clarks Corners Cemetery (AKA Myrtle Cemetery).
