Anna Achenbach
Mrs. Henry Achenbach, nee Anna Stuck was born in Schleswig, Germany, on July 18, 1874, being a daughter of the late Detleff and Catherine Stuck. At the age of eight years she came to this country with her parents settling at Kiel where they remained for about five years and then moved to this city, taking up residence in the home now owned by Chas. Beyer. She spent her girlhood here and later moved with her parents to Sheboygan. On June 6th 1896 she was united in marriage to Henry Achenbach and spent the first four years of her married life at Sheboygan. In 1900 they moved to the Lime Kilns where Mr. Achenbach was employed by the Western Lime Co. living there five years and then moving to this city where they have resided since. Mrs. Achenbach was the mother of eight children, six of whom with her husband survive her. They are Mrs. Henry Baltz, Mrs. Albert ???, Misses Luella and Lucy of this city, Walter of Sheboygan and Arthur at home. She is also survived by three brothers, Detfef Stuck of Hamilton, Claus Stuck of Chicago and Adolph Stuck of Detroit and one sister, Mrs. Carl Rehmer of Sheboygan.
