The home of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Achenbach on State Street was cast into gloom on Sunday morning when the youngest daughter, Sena, died suddenly. On Thursday of last week the little girl was operated upon for an acute attack of appendicitis and was recovering nicely after the operation, when a turn for the worse came and shortly after she expired. She had been a sufferer from yellow jaundice which was the cause of her death. Sena was born in this city Nov. 22, 1911. The heart broken parents, brothers and sisters have the sympathy of the community in their hour of grief. The funeral was held on Tuesday afternoon from the Reformed church, Rev. W. A. Arpke officiating. She is survived by her parents, four sisters, Lydia, Freda, Luella, Lucy and two brothers, Walter and Arthur.
