The former Lydia K Achenbach, she was born April 24, 1897 in Sheboygan, a daughter of the late Henry and Anna Stuck Achenbach. On June 6, 1921, she and Henry Baltz were married in Chilton. She was a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church, Chilton, the World War I Barracks Auxiliary, the Women’s Guild Society and the Order of the Eastern Star.
Surviving are her husband; one daughter, Mrs. George (Rachael) Dunlap of Whitefish Bay; four grandchildren; six great grandchildren; one sister, Miss Luella Achenbach of Chilton, and one brother, Arthur Achenbach of Long Beach, Calif. She was preceded in death by four sisters and one brother.
Funeral services were held at the Wieting Funeral Home, Chilton, with the Rev . Joe Anderson, pastor of Trinity Church officiating. Burial was in Hillside cemetery.
