DECATUR — Mary Etta Adams, 73 of Decatur was born June 21, 1932 in Ramsey, Illinois. She left to be with Jesus Saturday Oct. 22, 2005 at St. Mary's Hospital Decatur. She was from a family of nine, the children of Leo & Hazel Adams. Surviving are her sisters, Jane Flake of Decatur, Violet Cantril and Kathy Jeffries of Nashville, Tn., brothers, James Adams of Ramsey, Steve Adams of Glendale, Az. She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Joe, Larry and Bill Adams. She worked for the Herald & Review paper for years before her passing. She was a member of the Christian Church and we will miss her.
Memorial services for Mary will be Saturday Nov. 5, 2005 at the 1st Christian Church Herrick, IL. from 2 to 4 p.m.. Burial will be in Myers Cemetery Herrick.
