Dorothy A. "Dot" Shrader, of New Oxford, entered into eternal rest March 28, in Hanover.
She was the daughter of the late Linus J. and Genevieve R. Yingling Bevenour.
Mrs. Shrader was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, New Oxford; the National AARP, and a retired member of the New Oxford Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary. She attended St. Mary’s Catholic School and Central Catholic High School. Mrs. Shrader had formerly been employed by Hanover Cordage, Sylvania Shoe, Winter Gardens, and Rosie’s Restaurant.
She was the wife of William H. Shrader, who departed this life August 27, 1991, and is survived by four sons, Ronald J. Shrader and Thomas J. Shrader, both of New Oxford, Larry E. Shrader of Abbottstown, and Timothy A. Shrader of Hanover; two daughters, Joyce M. Hull of Hanover and Linda K. Martin of Orlando, FL; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one brother, Burnell "Bud" Bevenour of New Oxford, and two sisters, Nadine "Deanie" Dettinburn of Hanover and Mary Ann "Pickle" Shriver of New Oxford.
She was also preceded in death by two grandchildren, Teri Martin and Billy Martin, and four brothers, Clyde Bevenour, Richard Bevenour, Robert Bevenour, and William Bevenour.
