Find a Grave ID

Bio

In the early days of my genealogy research, I was able to find my 4th great-grandfather's grave with the help of my books, "Names in Stone" by Jacob Mehrling Holdcraft, and "Carroll County (MD) Cemeteries" compiled by the Carroll County Genealogical Society. They were my constant companions as I roamed the cemeteries of Carroll and Frederick Counties in Maryland over 2 decades. I photographed graves, I sat through hours of microfilm copying obits. When I moved from Maryland to Iowa, I loaded 18 boxes of research into my U-Haul. I proceeded to spend the next 9 months uploading photos and obits to memorials that were missing the information. If I made mistakes, please let me know so I can make corrections. Also, please feel free to use whatever photos will help you in your quest.
