Aged 72, of 421 Sixth Avenue, died at his home at 9:30 o'clock this morning. He was a native of Cambria County and a retired sergeant of the United States Army. Surviving are only nieces and nephews. Mr. Ackerman was a member of St. Mark's Catholic Church and the Eagles.
