Mrs. Diaemia Tavis
At 8:20 o'clock yesterday evening Mrs. Diaemia Tavis, wife of Mr. Charles Tavis, of 714 Ninth street, died of cancer at the age of 67 years and 11 months. The deceased was born in Broad Top City, Bedford County, Beside her husband she is survived by the following children; Mrs. Katie Pritchey, of Portage; Mrs. Susan Boslett, of Twentieth avenue and Nineteenth street; Mrs. Sarah Darr, Beale avenue and Twenty fourth street; Mrs. Annie Strohmyer, 712 Ninth street; and Augustus, now in the Philippines. Also one sister, Mrs. Beckie Macon, of Ebensburg. She was a member of the Second United Brethren church. The funeral will take place tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
