Dorothy (Leeson) Coy, 95, St. Joseph, passed away Sunday, February 19, 2012, at a St. Joseph health care center, She died from end stage dementia at 8:26 p.m. at the Arbor View Healthcare & Rehab Center; Jean Duncan, daughter, was in the informant on her death certificate.
Dorothy was born on February 10, 1917, in Savannah, Mo. She was a homemaker and a member of Jehovah's Witnesses.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Wanda McDonald; and two grandchildren.
Survivors include her daughter, Jean (Wes) Duncan; two sons, Wilbur (Sherry) Coy and Walter (Virginia) Coy, all of St. Joseph; 10 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
