George "Mel" Melvin Clark married Effie Emile Sadler on Oct 17, 1889, in Grant City, Montgomery County, Iowa. They migrated to Nance County, Nebraska in January 1893 and later, in Spring 1917, to Belgrade, Montana. They had 9 children, 7 of whom lived to adulthood.
