Marie Blanche was the youngest child of Joseph Stephen and Lena (Cox) Trumbull (Trumble) of Bridgton, Maine.

Marie married Herbert Barker Jr of Mechanics Falls on 30 Nov 1940. They had three children. Two sons names Dennis and David and one daughter named Brenda Marie. All were born in Bridgton, mostly raised in Norway, Maine.

Marie husband was a life-long dairy farmer of Norway, Maine. He owned and operated his dairy farm for nearly 30 years and maintained nearly 200 head of dairy cows. The farm was located on Pike's Hill in Norway, Maine.

Marie maintained her gardens and the much needed meals for her busy husband, sons and farm laborers.

After the death of her husband she moved to the village of Norway and later to Bethel to be near her daughter Brenda.

Marie is buried beside her husband at Forest Hills in Bridgton, Maine.
