Charlotte Ella Trumbull (Trumble) is the 3rd born child, 2nd daughter of Joseph Stephen & Lena (Cox) Trumbull of Bridgton, Maine.

Charlotte married twice; 1st Erlon Browne on 31 Aug 1935 in Bridgton, Maine. She became a widow in 1956 and remarried Louis Knight on 1 Jun 1959 in Bridgton, Maine. Her first husband was know as "Brownie". He died suddenly of a heart attack at the age of 53 years.

Charlotte and Uncle Brownie never had any children. Charlotte had not children with either husband. She was known as Aunt Charlotte by all!

She was a very attractive lady. Her first husband Brownie so he was known by was also an very attractive man. It is said they made quite a handsome couple.

Charlotte was known as a excellent seamstress, she too working in the dress mills of Bridgton, Maine. Charlotte was the only child of Joseph and Lena's to remained a life-long resident of Bridgton.

Charlotte was a member of several lady clubs in Bridgton. She enjoyed her card games too.

Charlotte is buried with both of her husbands beside her at Forest Hill in Bridgton, Maine.
