He was born Feb 3, 1913 in Elkhart County the son of Floyd Cook and A Myrtle (Wenger) Cook.
On October 31, 1936 he married Helen Lehman.
He is survived by one daughter, Mrs Melvin (Karen) Miller of Elkhart; one grandson, Darin J Miller of Elkhart; three sisters, Mrs Dale (Margaret) Love of Elkhart, Mrs Charles (Verna) Squires of Elkhart, Mrs Leon (Elizabeth) Wood of Elkhart; two brothers, Mr James Cook of Elkhart, Mr Keith Cook of Elkhart.
He was preceded in death by his wife on June 19, 1979; and one son, Steven Cook in 1962.
Friends may call Wednesday, June 1, 1994 2-4 & 6-8 pm at Rieth-Rohrer-Ehret-Lienhart Funeral Home of Wakarusa. Funeral services will be at 10 am Thursday, June 2,1994 at the Jamestown Methodist Church. The Rev Bill Wrapp will officiate. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Cemetery, St Joseph County.
Mr. Cook was a Standard Oil (Delivery Driver) and a farmer.
He had lived at 59976 CR 3 S. for 60 years. He was a member of the Jamestown Methodist Church, the Baugo Lion’s Club, Conservation Club and Fairview Grange.
