Theodore Tinsley Adams age 89, a resident of Irving since 1944, died Tuesday, January 24, 2012 at an Irving care center. He was born December 25, 1922 in Moss, Mississippi, to parents, James Dillard Adams and Nettie Columbia Moore Adams. He graduated from Sharon High School in 1943. Mr. Adams was the owner of Adams Plumbing Company which he started in 1949, and he was the co-founder and president of Irving Soccer League. He joined First Baptist Church of Irving on December 26, 1943. Preceded in death by his wife, Essie Marie Evans Adams, they married on March 31, 1945 at First Baptist. Also preceding him in death are his brothers, J.W. and Robert Adams and sisters, Inez, Eola, Mildred, Emma and Essie. Survivors include his daughter, Donna Mosty and husband Lee; daughter, Brenda Elston and husband Robin; son, David Adams and wife Susan; grandchildren, Tony Mosty and wife Laurin, Anna Marie Richardson and husband Kerry, Nicholas Mosty and wife Julie, Aaron Mosty and wife Jennifer, Stacey Paugh and fiancé Greg George, Lindsay Askins and husband Dustin, Trevor Elston and wife Ashley, Jennifer Philips and husband Johnny, Drew Adams and wife Deanna and Brett Adams and wife Megan; great grandchildren, twins, Caleb and Emily Mosty, Ella Mosty, Micah Mosty, Joshua Mosty, Abigail Mosty, Kelsie Marie Richardson, Grayson Richardson, Amelie Paugh, Zoe George, Kelton Askins, and baby girl Askins, on the way, Cole Philips, Luke Philips, Brooke Adams and Reese Adams, who is on the way; brother, Randolph Adams and wife Bonnie; sister-in-law, Annie Dale Adams; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Thursday at Donnelly's Colonial Funeral Home. Graveside service 10:15 a.m., Friday, January 27 at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery followed by a memorial service at 1:00 p.m., Friday at the First Baptist Church of Irving, 403 South Main Street with Pastor John Durham officiating.
