Probably named after her maternal grandmother Catharina Goodman Kugler. Originally buried in Oddsfellow Cemetery along with her husband, son Edward and daughter-in-law Mary Ann Etley Lawrence.
Catharine gave birth to eleven children, the one missing is her daughter Eliza b. 1836, who married Michael Clark in 1864 in Philadelphia and both have remained hidden since.
Catharine and her brother Simon Sweitzer 1800-1883, were both included in her maternal grandfather, Charles Kugler's will in 1818.
