Mrs. Margaret Elizabeth Fissell, wife of Jesse Howard Fissell, died at noon yesterday at the home of her sister, Mrs. John Colestock, 507 York street, Gettysburg. She was aged 66 years and was a daughter of the late Milus and Ann (Plank) Wilson.
For a time after their marriage, the couple resided in Gardners. For several years Mr. Fissell operated a hotel near the boardwalk in Atlantic City.
Surviving are the husband, a daughter Mrs. Anna E. Mohard, wife of General Churchill Mohard, assistant solicitor of Allegheny County and the following brothers and sisters; Mrs. Harry Eppleman and Mrs. Ella Eyler, York; C. J. Wilson, Gettysburg R. D.; Mrs. Mary Riggle, Gettysburg; Mrs. John Koerper, Philadelphia; Howard Wilson, Oakland, Cal; Mrs. Samuel Steinour, Baltimore; Robert Wilson and Mrs. Colestock, Gettysburg.
The funeral will be held on Thursday with services at the Deatrick Brothers' funeral home in Gettysburg at 1 o'clock. The Rev. Spencer W. Aungst, pastor of St. James Lutheran church, Gettysburg, will officiate. Interment will be made in Evergreen cemetery, Gettysburg. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday evening between 7 and 9 o'clock.
