Mrs. Ella S. Eyler
Mrs. Ella Smyser Eyler, a former resident of Emmitsburg, died at her home, 51 Ridge avenue, York, Pa., Monday afternoon at three o'clock at the age of 79. She had been ill for the past six months. She was a daughter of the late Milas and Annie Plank Wilson, and the wife of the late Charles E. Eyler. Surviving are a son and daughter, Nervin Eyler, York, Pa.; Mrs. Michael Wilke, California; three grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and these brothers and sisters; Charles and Robert Wilson, Gettysburg, Pa.; Howard Wilson, California; Mrs. Emma Eppleman, Carlisle, Pa.; Mrs. Mary Reigle, Gettysburg, Pa.; and Mrs. Zoe Speinour, Lakeland, Fla. She was a member of the Grace Evangelical United Brethren church, York.

Funeral will be held at the Allison funeral home in Emmitsburg Thursday afternoon at two o'clock. Rev. Woodrow Bartges will officiate. Interment in Mt. View cemetery, Emmitsburg. Friends may call at the funeral home after seven o'clock Wednesday evening.
