Howard M. Wilson
Word has been received in Gettysburg of the death of Howard M. Wilson, El Cerrito, Calif., on August 23, this year. Wilson, a 69 year old landscape gardener, was a native of Adams County, and suffered a heart attack on August 21. He was born and reared in the Mummasburg section of the county and was a son of the late Milus and Annie Plank Wilson. He went west as a young man and visited in Gettysburg two years ago for the last time. In addition to his widow and five children. all residing in California, two brothers and two sisters survive. They are Charles J. Wilson and Robert Wilson, both of Gettysburg, and Mrs. Mary Reigle, Gettysburg, and Mrs. Zoe Volk, Lakeland, Fla. Interment was made at El Cerrito.

WILSON-In Martinez, Calif., August 23, 1951. Howard Miles Wilson of 1008 San Pablo Ave., El Cerrito, husband of Theresa H. Wilson of El Cerrito; father of Donald and Howard Wilson of Oakland, Paul Wilson of Sacramento, Wesley Wilson of Medford, Ore; Mrs. Lois Dawson of Oakland; also survived by seven grandchildren and one great grandchild. A native of Pennsylvania aged 69 years.
Services will be conducted Monday, August 27, 1951, at 1:30 p.m. by the Rev. Robert I. Gosiaw at the El Cerrito chapel of the Wilson & Kratzer Mortuaries, 616 San Pablo Ave., El Cerrito. A private parking area adjacent to building is provided for your convenience. Will follow at Sunset View Cemetery.
