CARL WINKEL OF HOWARDS GROVE IS CALLED TO REST

Just one week after his mother, Mrs. Ida Winkel, pioneer of Howards Grove, was aid to rest, Carl Winkel will be laid to rest beside her in the cemetery near Trinity church at that place. He died at 6 o’clock yesterday evening at the home of his sister, Mrs. Mary Klueger, 1411 S. Eleventh Street, where he had been visiting for the holidays, after a short illness.

Mr. Winkel ordinarily made his home on the old farm at Howards Grove but had worked at various places throughout the county and state. His last illness was of short durations.

He is survived by his following brothers and sisters: Herman, Meeme; Frederic, Schleswig; Louis and Gustave, Herman; Mrs. Augusta Kreuger, Colby; Mrs. Ida Mister, Sheboygan; Mrs. Minnie Perronne, Howards Grove; Mrs. Barbara Grunewald, Herman; Mrs. Maria Klueger, Sheboygan; Mrs. Ann Marver, Boltonville.

The funeral will take place Saturday at 12:30 from the Klueger home and 1:30 at Trinity church, Howards Grove, with services by the Rev. Ottmar Schmidt.
