BOLTONVILLE LADY CALLED THURSDAY
Complications of old age caused the death of Mrs. Louis Marbes (nee Anna D. Winkel), Boltonville, at her home on Thursday. August 21. She had been ill for the past few weeks.
The deceased was born at Howards'Grove, Sheboygan County, on December 17, 1862. She was married to Louis Marbes in Milwaukee in 1880. He predeceased her, having passed away August 20, 1942. She came to her present home 37 years ago.
Survivors are daughter Edna (Mrs. Ed. Gerboth, Boltonville); and son Louis, Milwaukee. Two other children, Oscar and Laura preceded their parents in death.
She also leaves two brothers, Fred Winkel of Kiel and Louis Winkel of Howards Grove, Five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday, August 25,at 2 pm at the Krause Funeral Home, Milwaukee and burial was in Valhalla Cemetery, Milwaukee, WI.
