Louis M Norris was the first born of Leander Grady Norris and Beulah Edith Wolford. He was born Oct. 21, 1923 in Clinton, Hunt Co., TX and died Oct. 08, 1987 at a hospital in Clinton, TX. At the time of his death, he and his wife Jo were living at Cedar Shores, TX. Louis served in the Navy during WWII. After leaving the service he worked as a ranch hand and farmed around the Paducah, Crowell and Childress area and then settled in Fort Worth, TX where he worked for the railroad for 15 years. Louis married Josephene "Jo" E. Tims, May 21, 1971, Denton Co., TX. At the time of his death, Louis was survived by his wife Jo of the home, three step-children, James (Kennedy) Carruth, Cody (Kennedy) Carruth and Trudy (Kennedy) Carruth, Pool; three step-sons from a previous marriage, Steve, John and Garland Feasel; his mother, Edith Norris of Pampa; one brother, Bill Norris and wife Gloria, Pampa, TX and four sisters, Dorothy Hewett and husband Jack, Mountainair, NM, Lela Beasley and husband Lloyd, Austin, TX, Mildred Fulton and husband Francis "Red", Pampa, TX and Naida Green and husband Tom, Liberty, MO. He was preceded in death by his father, L. G. Norris in 1953, brother L. J. Norris in 1962, sister, Katherine Harper in 1978 and stepson Roby in 1985. Louis was a wonderful big brother and will be missed by his family.
