Gilda was survived by her husband Benjamin F. Quintana, son William A. Quintana (Doris) of Meadowview, Virginia; son Alvin L.Quintana (Roxanne) of Ridgecrest, California; daughter Phyllis Quintana (Anthony Smith) of Oxnard, California; grandchildren: Alex and Kevin Quintana and Andrew Smith; brothers: Ben Fresquez (Erma) and Tony Fresquez (Lourdes), sisters: Amanda Rolfes (Raymond), Amelia Cisneros and Angelina Romero, as well as other relatives.
Gilda worked for many years at J.W. Owens then she worked at People's Department Store until retirement. She was a devoted member of the Parish of Iglesia de Santa Cruz de la Cañada.
Recitation of the Rosary was on November 21st at La Iglesia de Santa Cruz de la Cañada. The Mass of Christian burial was on November 22nd also at the same church. Interment was at the Holy Cross cemetery.
