Amanda, born in Española, passed away peacefully. She was predeceased by her parents Melecio Fresquez and Braulia Fresquez (Ortiz); daughter Claire (Stephen Brandin); great grandson Andrew Yustat; sisters: Lugarda (Matias Luján), Gilda (Benjamin Quintana); brother Tony J. Fresquez (Lourdes); first husband of 29 years, José D. Montoya; and second husband of 8 years, William Rudometkin.

Amanda was survived by her husband of 30 years, Raymond Rolfes; daughter Marie Montoya; son Joseph Montoya (wife Jan); sisters: Amelia (Tony Sisneros) and Angelina (Al Romero); and brother Ben Fresquez (Erma); grandchildren: Stephanie Ibarra-Rivera, Benjamin Brandin, Mary Benvenuto and Joshua Montoya; great-grandchildren: Alyssa Yustat, Addison Benvenuto, Aidan Benvenuto, Lucas Ibarra-Rivera, Stephen Ibarra-Rivera, and Brandon Ibarra-Rivera; many nieces and nephews; and her beloved dog "Angel".

Amanda enjoyed a 40+ year career at Brooks Cameras in San Francisco. She was an avid photographer and her many photo albums will provide her family many memories in the years to come. However, her biggest passion was always family. She will be greatly missed by all.

A Rosary was recited on 24 Oct 2014 at La Iglesia de Santa Cruz de la Cañada in Santa Cruz. Mass of Christian burial was on 25 Oct 2014 at La Iglesia de Santa Cruz de la Canada. Burial followed at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetetry. Pallbearers: Melecio Fresquez, Benjamin Brandin, Benny Fresquez, Michael Sisneros, Rocky Fresquez, Eugene Fresquez, and Marshall Fresquez. Honorary pallbearers: Sadie Night, William Quintana, Alvin Quintana, Danny Sisneros, Stephanie Ibarra Rivera, Addison Benvenuto, Lucas Ibarra Rivera, Stephen Ibarra Rivera, Brandin Ibarra-Rivera, Mary Benvenuto, Joshua Montoya, Andrew Yustat, and Alyssa Yustat.
