Maurice Elmer Boren sudden death. occurred at his home at the nw corner of Fairmont, April 19 1925. April 18th he complained of his head hurting, he was nauseated and about 7 ocock became unconscious from which state he did not rally. He was born near Liberty, Illinois, Feb 12, 1870. He came west to Nebraska with his paretns and settled near Waco and then came to McCool in the spring of 1892. He attended the State University of Ne for 3 years and for 10 years engaged in teaching.
He married Miss Mabel U. Bagg at her home near York Sept 28, 1899. 7 children: John William, manager of the Yost Lumber Co at Fairmont; Maurice Elmer of Peru, Margaret Ellen, Charles Emory, George harold, Arthur Raymond and Lorena Blanche. He moved to Genoa, Ne in 1914 where he engaged in business. He moved to the farm where the family now live in 1917. Those that survive him besides the wife and children, his mother, Mrs. Ellan Boren of McCool, two sisters, Mrs. A. A Jacobs, and Mrs. Will Shipley and one brother J. W. Boren all of McCool, one grandhcild, William Francis, Mrs. Boren's father, J. H. Bagg who mades his home with the family besides other relatives.
Burial in the Greenwood Cemetery between McCool and Lushton.
