Demetrios A. Armenakis passed away peacefully at the age of 74 on October 17, 2011 with his beloved wife, Mary, and his children Angela, Jack, and daughter-in-law, Ana, at his side.

Loved by all, he is also survived by his granddaughter Alexandra, brother, Achilles, sister, Maria, nieces, nephews, and cousins. He lived his life serving his family, country, community and friends. He was the Potentate of Kena Shriners in 2004.

He was preceded in death by a son, George Demetrios Armenakis.

The family received friends at the Fairfax Memorial Funeral Home, Fairfax, VA on October 31, 2011 where religious services were held on November 1, 2011. Burial at Arlington National Cemetery on January 23, 2012.
