Mrs. Ottilia Ann Dittman, 87, Shawano, formerly of Gillett, died Monday evening in a Shawano nursing home following a long illness. She was born April 28, 1898 in the town of Underhill to the late William and Ottilia Dirks.

Mrs. Dittman lived all of her life in the town of Underhill and Gillett area. She married Carl F. Dittman on Aug. 24, 1924 at Christ Lutheran Church in the town of Underhill. He preceded her in death on Oct. 20, 1980.

Mrs. Dittman was a member of Christ Lutheran Church and a charter member of the Ladies Aid.

Survivors include two sons and one daughter-in-law, Paul W., Green Bay, Carl and Mavis, rural Gillett; one daughter and son-in-law, Marian and Ken Montoure, Auke Bay, Alaska; one sister, Mrs. Martha Neitzel, Mayville, Wisconsin; three brothers, William Dirks, Mayville Henry Dirks, Shawano, Theodore Dirks, Edgar; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

She was also preceded in death by two brothers and four sisters.

Friends may call at the Kuehl Funeral Home, Gillett, from 4 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and then at Christ Lutheran Church, Town of Underhill, form 10:30 a.m. Thursday until time of services at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Karl Rose officiating. Interment in the church cemetery.
