OSCAR BUCHANAN
Oscar Buchanan, 43, a Green Co. native, died in Detroit, Michigan Tues. 23 Aug 1966 from a heart attack.
He had made his home in Detroit and was formerly employed by the Board of Education there.
Mr. Buchanan was the son of Dora Buchanan and the late Hansel
Buchanan. He was preceded in death, 2 years ago by his wife Mary Orlando Buchanan. Besides his mother, he is survived by 1 sister, Mrs. Gracie kelly of Green co. and 6 brothers, Leslie Buchanan, John Wesley Buchanan, Robert Buchanan, Frank Buchanan and Alva Buchanan, all of Green Co. and Twyman
Buchanan of Cincinnati, Ohio.
Funeral services were held at the J.A. DeSantis Funeral Home Thurs 26 Aug at 2 p.m. with burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Detroit.
