Mr. Twyman Buchanan, son of the late Hansel and Dora Buchanan, was born December 16, 1924, in Green County and departed this life March 6, 1997, in Orlando, Florida. He united in marriage to Eva Haynes on May 5, 1952, who survives. To this union were born two daughters, Ruth Esther McCartney of Boca Raton, Florida, and Lee A. Buchanan of Orlando, Florida. Also, one granddaughter, Sara Megan McCartney. He is also survived by two brothers and one sister: Robert and Frank Buchanan of Greensburg, and Gracie Kelly of Greensburg. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews throughout the eastern United States. Preceding him in death were six brothers: William Berry, Arthur D., Oscar, Alva, Leslie and John Wesley. Memorial services were conducted on March 11 at 11 a.m. at University Congregational Church with burial in Orlando. Florida.
