Eva R. Cromer, 92, of Dillsburg passed away Monday, October 31, 2011 at her home.

She was born November 14, 1918 in Franklin Township, York County, PA. She was the daughter of the late George & Alice (Williams) Cromer.

Eva was a retired custodian from the Northern York County School District. She had also formerly worked at the Dillsburg Shoe Factory and Bethany Village. She was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church, Dillsburg where she was a former Sunday School Teacher for over 20 years; the Dillsburg Golden Age Club and a former member of the CY Travel Club. She also loved crafting; especially quilting, knitting and sewing.

She is survived by her son, Barry H. Cromer and his wife, Donna, of Dillsburg. Her grandchildren; Annie Cooke and her husband Tom, Jason Cromer and his wife Dalora, and Kirby Cromer and his wife Melissa. She also leaves behind 7 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers and sister; John, Wilbert, Gilbert and Luther Cromer and Thelma Shambaugh.

Services will be held Friday, 10:30 am, November 4, 2011 at the Cocklin Funeral Home, Inc., 30 N. Chestnut St., Dillsburg, PA. Burial will be in the Dillburg Cemetery - Mountain Road. A viewing will be held Friday, from 9:30 - 10:30 am at the funeral home.
