Born in Clear Springs, York County, he was a son of the late George and Alice (William) Cromer. He was acting supervisor of Huntington Twp. and a retired employee of Ditzler's Furniture and Appliance Co., York Springs. He was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Heidlersburg, and the Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge 1526.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by three brothers: Gilbert Cromer of Dillsburg; John Cromer of Mt. Holly Springs; and Luther Cromer of Carlisle; two sisters: Thelma Stambaugh and Eva Cromer, both of Dillsburg; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services held Tuesday at the Pittenturf Funeral Home, York Springs, with the Rev. Robert T. Mylod, officiating. Interment in Sunnyside Cemetery.
