George H. Cromer, Former Resident Of Dillsburg, Dies

Dillsburg - George H. Cromer, former resident of Dillsburg, who had been ill for about a year, died at 4:15 a.m. yesterday at his home, Carlisle RD 1. He was 61 years old.

Mr. Cromer, a farmer, was a member of New Kingston Lutheran church (sic). He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Alice Cromer; four sons, Gilbert Cromer, this place; Wilbert Cromer, York Springs RD; John Cromer, Mt. Holly, and Luther Cromer, Carlisle RD 1; two daughters, Mrs. Hugh Shambaugh, this place, and Eva Cromer, at home; his mother, Mrs. Kathryn Cromer, here; a brother, J. William Cromer, Iowa; three sisters, Mrs. Bessie Harbold and Mrs. Lewis Frederick, both of Dillsburg RD 1, and Mrs. Vernon Brightbill, Mechanicsburg RD, and ten grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Cocklin Funeral home, here. Rev. George Bramme, former pastor of New Kingston Lutheran church (sic), will officiate. Interment will be in Dillsburg cemetery (sic).
