Paul Nagel Kutzner, son of Walter Lawrence Kutzner and Mary Helena (Luman) Kutzner, was born Aug. 31, 1901, in Enid, Oklahoma, and passed away at Williamsburg Community Hospital, in Williamsburg, Virginia, on Saturday, December 15, 1979, at the age of 78 years, 3 months and 15 days.

On August 22, 1923, he was united in marriage to Elsie Mae Green, in Scotland County. And to this union ten children were born, Mrs. Roy (Marvelle) Adams, Rutledge, Missouri, Henry Walter Kutzner, Memphis, Missouri, Paul Eldon Kutzner, Stafford, Virginia, Mrs. Leonard (Ilene) Mathes of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Mrs. Woodrow (Marianna) Marr, New Port News, Virginia, Ronald Keith Kutzner, Union, Illinois, Robert Allen and George Edward Kutzner, Roberta Fay Onken, Memphis, Missouri, Mrs. Gary (Patricia) Jackson, Ventura, California.

He was married to Alice Crossland in August of 1958. She passed away in August of 1978.

He is survived by eight children and 35 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren and a host of step-children and step-grandchildren; also eight sisters and one brother, Grace Cameron, Clinton, Iowa, Helen Chambers, Estalene Kugler, of Gorin, Missouri, Irene Manka, Dorothy Bendlage, and Vane Kutzner, all of Fort Madison, Iowa, Faye See of Rutledge, Missouri, Evon Howe of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Thelma Keiser of Bloomfield, Illinois.

He was preceded in death by both parents, his wife, two sons, Robert and George and one brother, George Kutzner.

Funeral services were held in the Payne-Gerth Chapel, Memphis, Wednesday, December 19, 1979, at 1:30 p.m. The Rev. Kenneth Campbell officiated. Burial was in the Memphis Cemetery, Memphis, Missouri. Grandsons were body bearers.
