Margaret M. Langer, 93, of River Falls, died Saturday, Nov. 4, at River Falls Area Hospital.
The daughter of John and Hattie (Dusek) Andrle, she was born on March 28, 1913, in Oak Grove Township.
On June 10, 1935, she married Emil B. Langer Jr., in St. Mary's Catholic Church in Big River.
They spent many years farming in rural River Falls. After retiring they moved into River Falls.
Her family said she enjoyed reading, playing cards, gardening, homemaking, and spending time with children and grandchildren.
She was a former member of St. Martin's Catholic Church, and most recently was a member of St. Bridget's Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, Hattie and John Andrle; husband of 59 years, Emil Langer; son, Ken Langer; and three great-grandchildren: McKenna, Hannah, and Brian.
She is survived by her children: Gene (Mary Ann) Langer, Larry (Mary) Langer, Jeanette (Joe) Beissel, Doris (Frank) Holter, Robert (Virginia) Langer, Karen (Florian) Reinardy, Diane (Walter) Warwick, and Mike (Kim) Langer; 42 grandchildren; 65 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and many friends.
Funeral service will be Tuesday, Nov. 7, at St. Bridget Catholic Church. Fr. Gerald Harris will officiatie
Interment was at St. Bridget Cemetery.
Pallbearers are: her grandchildren: John Howard, Chris Langer, Donna Langer, Ron Beissel, Dann Holter, Rick Reinardy, Chad Langer, Brian Warwick, and Ben Langer.
