Age 76 of Stillwater, MN Passed away peacefully On January 16, 2016, after a short battle with cancer. Eugene worked for 3M for 35 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Emil & Margaret Langer; and brothers, Ken and Larry Langer. He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Mary Ann; children, Julie (James) Moy, Laura Langer, Angie (Jeff) Olson, Jenny Cartony, and Christopher Langer; grand-children, Briana, Amanda, Emma, Hannah, Kevin, Lucas, and Logan; great-grandchildren, Kayden, Noah, and Sawyer; and sisters and brothers, Jeanette Beissel, Doris Holter, Bob Langer, Karen Reinardy, Diane Warwick, and Mike Langer. He is also survived by many friends and relatives who will also miss him dearly. Special thanks to Lakeview Hospice for helping care for Gene in the last months of his life. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday, January 21 at Simonet Funeral Home, 6429 Osgood Ave. N, Stillwater, MN and also one hour prior to the Mass at church. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, January 22, at the Church of St. Michael, 611 S. 3rd St., Stillwater, MN. Interment will be at St. Michael's Cemetery, Bayport, MN.
