Sue Segars
Toccoa, GA - Sue Ivester Segars, 94, of Falls Road died Friday, Feb. 16, 2001, at Toccoa Nursing Center.
She was born in Stephens County, where she had lived the greater part of her life. She was a member of the Old Toccoa Baptist Church. Surviving are son, James L. Ivester of Stockbridge; sisters, Jewell Grafton and Eva Hallford, both of Toccoa; a number of grandchildren; and a number of great grandchildren.
She was twice married, first to the late Edwin Ivester and second to C. D. Segars. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Lorene Stapp; and two sons, Namon Ivester and Morris Ivester.
Services are at 1 p.m. Sunday at Hillcrest Chapel of the Acree-Davis Funeral Home by the Rev. Roger Elrod; burial will be in Old Toccoa Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Acree-Davis Funeral Home, Toccoa.
