Toccoa
Eva Ivester Hallford, 91, of 313 Talmadge Drive, died Saturday,
April 28, 2001.
A native of Stephens County, Mrs. Hallford was a daughter of the
late William Craig and Frances Rothell Ivester, was the widow of
Wallace Hallford and was preceded in death by three sons, Ray
Hallford, Roy Hallford and Glenn Hallford. She had resided most of
her life in Stephens and Habersham Counties and was a homemaker and
member of Antioch Baptist Church.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Antioch Baptist Church
with the Revs. Jerry Mize and Kenneth Moon officiating. The body
will be placed in the church at 10 a.m.
Survivors include three daughters, Annie Clark, Lawrenceville,
Gladys Scott, Toccoa, and Doris Jackson, Royston; three sons,
Arthur Paul Hallford and William J. ''Billy'' Hallford, both of
Toccoa, and Kenneth Hallford, Chattanooga, Tenn.; a sister, Jewell
Grafton, Toccoa; 10 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
The family is at the residence and will receive friends from 7-9
p.m. today at Whitlock Mortuary.
